About Me
I am a passionate CGI/VFX Generalist and Graphic Designer with a versatile skill set spanning modeling, texturing, simulations, and rendering. Over the years, I’ve worked on diverse projects, from photogrammetry-based visualizations to creative commercial work for brands like Hey Dude Shoes, where I crafted dynamic VFX and integrated product-focused storytelling. My work often combines technical expertise with artistic vision, creating visually compelling results.
My academic and personal projects have given me hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and workflows. I’ve explored the intricacies of real-time and standalone rendering, leveraging engines like Redshift to achieve photorealistic quality in both personal and client projects. Proceduralism is a core focus of my work, where I utilize Houdini and Hscript to design tools that streamline workflows and enable innovative solutions for complex challenges.
Modeling and texturing are areas I excel in, with Houdini as my primary tool for procedural modeling and Mari for detailed, high-quality texturing. My experience includes crafting intricate simulations such as RBD destruction, creating tools to simplify UV workflows, and producing high-resolution assets for close-up shots.
Beyond VFX, I’ve also ventured into product design, 3D printing, and interactive installations. Notable projects include creating modular drying systems, designing arcade-inspired enclosures, and integrating sensors and microcontrollers into functional prototypes.
